Okay so it's a week late, but I've had a busy week! We were lucky enough to have my brother and his wife stay with us over Easter. It was so fun! It was so fun to visit with them for a few days. And Kai loves them! He was so sad to see them go, and wouldn't even sleep in his room because that was Jon and Rachel's room! It was cute! We had a good Easter. We have early church, so Kai had to hurry through his Easter basket, but the Easter bunny left him some sweet stuff! His favorite was a Spider-man watch that he loves and wears all the time. And he's always telling me it's 90 o'clock! He also got a new Easter outfit, which he looks dashing in :)
His new watch
His new Easter outfit. He loves to dress up for church! I can't wait for the cheesy smile to go, but I guess it's better than nothing!
It was a great day, filled with the Spirit and family and good food.

Can I get a whoop whoop?!
I got my cast off this morning!! Whoo hoo! It feels so great to be able to wash my hand and put lotion on!!! Oh the creature comforts. On a sadder note I have part of my cast back on, as a brace. But he re-lined it so it's fresh and new and it's just on by velcro, so I can take it off whenever I want. So anyway. The thing I'm most looking forward to? Taking a shower and washing my hair with both hands. Aaahhhhh....

When does imagination become dangerous?
When your 3 year old son goes to the front door, unlocks it, and welcomes in Wall-E, who has come to visit, while you are otherwise occupied.
Yeah. It freaked me out when I heard the front door opening, so I race to it, and Kai is standing there. He looks at me and smiles and said Wall-E came to visit. So he opened the door, told Wall-E to come in, then closed the door, re-locked it and showed Wall-E upstairs. He then watched a movie with us, and Kai fed him imaginary bananas and snacks and not so imaginary chips, that Kai had to help with. A little while later we had another visitor...Eva (Wall-E's girlfriend, for those who haven't seen it). I convinced him to just yell at Eva to come in, rather than go open the door again.
I don't think I really ever expected it! I don't know if that's because I don't remember if I ever did that or what, but now that it's here...it's hilarious! And slightly dangerous!
