UT Love

I went to UT for a long weekend for my newest nieces baby blessing! We got in quite a few trips up into the mountains for some fall colors...it's beautiful! Love that we got a chance to come down here for a minute! Some of my favorites of the weekend....

Best of friends

Pickin' peaches...

to make Peach Jam of course! And yes, it's as delicious as it looks :)

Beautiful country roads

Perfect picture spots

...or is it picture perfect???

Either way.

Coming across the most amazing bus! And appropriate given my dad is a bus driver :)

And more, but that's all that's on my computer right now! Coming up? A pink wonderland.....oh ok, and some of my cute niece too.

Family pics

So we had some friends over for the game yesterday and I coerced them into taking family pictures of us and them. It was fun, and we had a few turn out super great! Loved the spot we found, love my family!

I stole....

this from a friends blog. I was up last night laughing so hard I was crying. It is SO funny! Go here...

Catalog Living

Oh to be a fly on the wall in Elaine and Gary's house....

Elaine blamed herself for not being more specific with Gary in her request for him to “put up some pictures of people.”

To be fair Elaine, I specifically asked not to be in charge of decor for the wake.

If you're not finding this funny...wait until you're delirious with exhaustion, like 9:30 or so....then read. Too funny. Thanks Randi!

A final parting shot.....don't tell me there isn't SOME sort of truth here....

Gary, I know for a fact it took you four times as long to put that decal on the wall than it would have taken to actually clean up.

Tender Moments

As a mom there are a lot of different days. Some days are filled with fun. Some are filled with exasperations. Some crying, some lazy, some normal. Most have a mix of all the above. Yesterday was no exception. But every once in a while we're lucky enough to get a little tender moment in the mix, to help us keep going.

We were in church (after Kai had been taken out, which has NEVER happened before). We finally made it to the end of sacrament. During the announcements Cameron and I look over and notice Kai is buttoning up his shirt. With exasperation (one of the aforementioned feelings, that happens a lot) we ask why he had unbuttoned his shirt.

Dad, I was just checking to make sure Jesus is still in my heart.

Love the tender moments.

(and because I think posts without pictures aren't nearly as fun, here's another tender moment between my kids. Have I mentioned how much I love them?)

FHE

We went to the Temple last night for our Family Home Evening. We went when it was too dark to get many good pictures (man I can't WAIT for a good lens..) but we got a couple. Love my kiddos!

She was a good trooper even though it was a little chilly...she was just excited to be out of the car seat!

Too grainy to salvage as a color pic...b&w works too!

So lucky to get these two forever!

Oh Kennedi. One of about 30,000 different expressions we get a day! Oh how I love this girl!
