We are having the best 4th of July!! We're taking a little break in our day to cool off and recoup, waiting for friends to come over...(and catching up on the Bachelorette, of course!) So here's some happenings today! Hopefully I'll have a few more pictures to post tomorrow of the festivities tonight.
Oh, minus fireworks. Almost every city in Denver has banned fireworks because of fire danger :( We're bummed, but will persevere!
We went to our annual ward breakfast. Uncle Sam showed up to lead the bike parade like usual, we love our ward!!
KiKi was freaked out by Uncle Sam, and decided to be a stinker the rest of the morning. These are the classic Kiki candids...she's cute, but a stinker.
And here she is hiding behind my leg. It was an awkward angle to get the picture, but I thought it was kinda cute.
But she perked up at the end and daddy helped her ride the scoot.
After the breakfast we met up with our besties and went to Historic Downtown Golden. Besides being bloody hot it was AMAZING. We LOVED it so much and have plans to go back soon!!
Lunch at the park was awesome...
Then went and had a walk down the river walk. Beautiful.
(PS If you look in the picture above, above the treeline you can almost see a mountain line...it is SO smoky and hazy here from the fires :( )
Then it was downtown Golden. Beautiful, again. So fun.
(This guy almost came home with me. How ridiculous is he?!)
