Christmas Program #1

The first of hundreds more, I'm sure. At least tens more. Kai had his first preschool program last night. We do a co-op, so some of the moms put it together, and it turned out so cute. They sang some Christmas songs, then recited Twas the Night Before Christmas, then a few more Christmas songs. Then we had treats and crafts. So fun and cute. A good induction to what will be our lives :)

I was bummed because the pictures turned out awful, I had the hardest time figuring out the white balance between the florescents and flash, I couldn't find a happy medium. Oh well.

Before the program...had to get all the nervous energy out.

One of the songs. He knew them all, but would only mouth every 6th word or so. Punk.

His part of the poem. Again, he knew the words, but refused to say them until he was prompted every line by the teacher. Double Punk. A performer this kid is not. At least, not on a formal stage. At least he looks good doing it!

Some song with actions...he actually did this one!

The gift exchange was a big hit as well, of course! He LOVES his gift and hasn't put it down since he woke up this morning (it's a drawing thing of transformers)

A fun night with friends, and he loved it, so that's what counts!
